Election Day Watch Party: Cocktails & Quick Bites

It’s Election Day, we don’t get political here but we love a good watch party! No matter what side of the aisle you’re in, what are you making tonight to watch the results? We're sharing some cocktails!


A yummy fresh appetizer 'salad', with Mozzarella stars!

A quick and fun hot dog recipe with cheese stars!


Nothing screams "America" like corn dog muffins!


Our favorite recipe for elevating Chocolate Chip Cookies. Can't find the white M&M's, just use blue and red and add some white chocolate chips.


POTUS Punch

  • 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1 oz orange juice

  • 1 oz grenadine

  • .5 oz simple syrup

  • 4 fresh blackberries

  • Garnish: blackberry

In a mixing glass, muddle berries. Add ice, then the remaining ingredients. Stir and pour over ice. Serve and enjoy!



Swing State Spritzer

  • 2 parts Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka

  • 5 muddled blueberries

  • Dash of grenadine

  • Club soda

Mix all ingredients, except club soda. Once mixed, pour over ice. Add a splash of club soda and enjoy!


Running Mate

  • 2 parts Basil Hayden's Bourbon

  • 3/4 parts Cranberry Juice

  • 3/4 parts Lime Juice

  • 1/2 part Simple Syrup

  • 1 pinch Edible Gold Dust

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and shake. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with two raspberries and one blueberry on a tooth pick. Serve and enjoy!



Red, White & Blue

  • 1 oz grenadine

  • 3 oz lemonade

  • 1 oz vodka

  • 1 oz blue curacao

  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Add grenadine to a glass then fill with ice.

  2. In a shaker, shake lemonade and vodka then gently pour the mixture over the back of a spoon into the glass creating the white layer of the drink. 

  3. Cascade blue curacao over the back of a spoon to make the final blue layer.
