Whoever said Pizza has to be tomato sauced based? We made a dessert pizza that's too good not to share! This Grilled Strawberry Basil Dessert Pizza is so delicious, you'll be making more than once!
PAM® Grilling Spray
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled, quartered
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
1 pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
2 cups Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping
1 pkg (16 oz each) ready to bake pizza dough
How To Make:
Spray cold grates of gas grill with grilling spray.
Preheat grill for medium-low heat.
In medium bowl, gently stir together strawberries, honey, sugar and basil. Cover and set aside.
In small bowl, stir together cream cheese and Reddi-wip; set aside.
Spray rimless baking sheet or pizza pan with grilling spray.
Roll dough in a 12-inch circle on lightly floured surface.
Carefully transfer dough to baking sheet and then directly onto grill grates.
Grill dough about 2 minutes per side, until lightly charred and cooked through.
Spread grilled crust evenly with cheese mixture.
Top with strawberries.
Serve with additional Reddi-wip, if desired.
If you're craving it to be even more sweeter, instead of cream cheese, you could add Nutella or a chocolate sauce.
