What better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than with green cupcakes!

We're making our cupcakes from scratch but if you're using a mix, follow the mix and add green food coloring! If you're following our instructions, start at eight and work from there!
Things You'll Need:
2 cups + 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
4 1/2 tablespoons of corn starch
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoons of salt
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 eggs
1 1/3 cup of sour cream
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1 1/2 tablespoons of green food coloring
Green frosting
Green cupcake liners
'Happy St. Patrick's Day' plastic rings
Edible Shamrock sugar shape
How To Make:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Line the muffin tins with green cupcake liners.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, corn starch, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In the bowl of a standing electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.
Add in the eggs one at a time, beating each.
Mix in the sour cream, vanilla, and food coloring.
Mix in the flour until just combined.
Spoon batter into cupcake liners and bake for 15-18 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Set aside the cupcakes to cool before adding the frosting.
Once cooled, add the green frosting on top.
Then top with a St. Patrick's Day plastic ring, that your guests can wear after!
Top with the edible Shamrock sugar shape.
Serve and enjoy!
