Peeps® Brownie Batter Donuts

Who says brownies can't be turned into donuts? We're making brownie donuts with PEEPs for a special Easter treat!

Ingredients:

  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray

  • 1 package of Duncan Hines® Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • 1 cup of Duncan Hines® Classic Vanilla Creamy Home-Style Frosting

  • Food coloring

  • Rainbow sprinkles

  • 18 PEEPS® Marshmallow Bunnies

How To Make:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F

  2. Spray three 6-cavity donut pans with cooking spray

  3. Stir together the brownie mix, eggs, oil and water in large bowl until well blended

  4. Pour brownie batter evenly into donut pans.

  5. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes, until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean

  6. Remove them from pans to wire rack to cool completely

  7. Divide frosting evenly into 4 small bowls

  8. Use the food coloring to dye frosting 4 different bold colors, colors will not appear as boldly when the donuts are frosted

  9. Microwave each color of frosting 10 seconds, just until fluid

  10. Dip the top of each donut in frosting and place on wire rack until frosting is set. NOTE: If frosting firms up before you've finished dipping, microwave 5 seconds more

  11. Drizzle any remaining frosting over donuts

  12. Decorate with sprinkles

  13. Place a PEEPS® Marshmallow Bunny in the center of each brownie batter donut

  14. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, so it hardens

  15. Serve and enjoy!
