Meatless Taco Recipe!

As the weather gets colder and we say “bye” to swimsuit season, we start to transition back to those warmer, comforting foods.


When we think of quick and easy lunch or dinner ideas for the back-to-school season or now that adults are returning to the office, some of our favorite quick and easy go-to’s have always been House Foods!





House Foods Organic Tofu is healthy, inexpensive, and ideal for adding plant-based protein to you or your kids’ lunchboxes without compromising on nutrition or taste.


With so many varieties of Organic Tofu available, from soft to extra firm, you can whip up super versatile after-school meals in no time!





Tofu can be incorporated into a wide variety of recipes, like this Kid-Friendly Tofu Tacos made with House Foods Organic Extra Firm Tofu. It's super tasty and simple to make!






How To Make:

  1. Prep the tofu by pressing it.

  2. Add the pressed tofu into a separate bowl.

  3. Using a fork, or whatever utensil you like, make the tofu into 'crumbles'.

  4. Add your taco seasoning to the tofu and mix well.

  5. Once everything is mixed, add it to your pan.

  6. Cook it on medium heat for however long you like, until it is cooked to your taste.

  7. While it's cooking, gather your other ingredients.

  8. When the tofu is done cooking, let it cool for about two minutes.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
