Low Carb, High-Protein Snacks

Our team is super big on high-protein, low carb snacks! We’re sharing our favorite on-the go snacks we’ve tried, and some we haven’t tried but heard great things about.

Have you tried any of these snacks? Let us know!

Whisps

Whisps are cheese crisps made from 100% real cheese from a family owned farm. The crisps are high in protein, low carb, contain less than 3 grams of sugar, gluten and lactose free (with the expectation of the ranch flavor), keto-friendly, and made without preservatives or artificial flavors. These snacks are great if you love cheese but want to munch on something small. They’re also great for putting in a salad, as a substitute for croutons, giving your salad some extra cheese flavor!

There are 7 flavors in total! Our favorites are the Parmesan (a classic). If you’re looking for a tangy flavor, we suggest the barbecue crisps. Whisps recently launched two new flavors - tangy ranch and nacho! We can’t wait to try them!

Justin’s

Justin’s are nut-butter products that are packed with protein. All their products are organic and locally and sustainably sourced. Justin’s product lines include peanut, almond, and cashew butter, in different flavors, such as honey, chocolate hazelnut, maple, cinnamon, vanilla and coconut.

For a more on-the-go snack, Justin’s has a line of nut butter cups, available in all their nut butters, some with white chocolate and honey. They also have nut butter covered almonds and cashews.

We keep a large jar of peanut and almond butter in our pantry and packets of almond butter in our purses! If you’re craving something sweet but with healthier ingredients, Justin’s has great options.

Quest Tortilla Chips

You probably know Quest because of their protein bars, and while those are amazing, our new favorite high-protein snacks from Quest are their tortilla chips! The chips are baked, gluten free, and made without any added soy ingredients. They’re a bit higher in carbs, compared to some other snacks, but it’s worth a try since it will curb your chip cravings.

They have 7 flavors in total! Limor recommends the nacho and loaded taco flavors. The nacho flavor is similar to Doritos chips but without all the calories and artificial flavors. These tortilla chips are great to crunch up and put into a salad!

Chicken Chips by Wilde

Yup, you read that right! Chicken chips made from 100% all-natural chicken and 10g of protein per serving. These chips are thin and crispy. They’re great for a paleo-diet and are wheat, soy, egg, milk, and peanut-free!

There are six flavors in total. Limor loves giving these to her boys when she’s concerned about their protein intake! Our personal favorite is the chicken and waffle flavor - it’s sweet and salty and the chicken taste isn’t too strong.

We haven’t tried these next three but have heard great things about them. They’re currently in our shopping cart!

These high protein and fiber snacks are broad beans! They’re roasted with a bit with sunflower oil and are vegan, gluten free, soy free, and non-GMO. There are 13 sweet and savory flavors. They can be used for on-the-go snacking, put in salad, put in yogurt, or in a soup.

Cruncha ma-me Edamame

These edamame snacks are freeze-dried! They’re also made with 100% natural ingredients, are non-GMO, gluten free, and high in fiber and protein. They can be used as a snack or put in salad, for a little extra crunch and flavor. There are five flavors.
