And just like that another summer flew by! 2020 has been a challenging year but that doesn’t mean that you can’t add some fun to it! We’re sharing some ideas for an end of summer BBQ that will have your (socially distant) guests in for a treat!
First, you need to pick a theme! Some of our favorite summer themes are Aloha, Gingham, Tiki, Beach, Nautical, Rainbow, and Seafood.
Add some light to your backyard or patio. We love some nice string lights, and if it can change colors it’s more fun!

Something that is usually overlooked for party planning is plates, napkins, table covers, and utensils. You can find party-kits for practically any theme or you could DIY your decorations.

You’ll want to decorate the area where your food will be served! Depending on your theme, you can find table decorations.

If you have a pool in your backyard, check-out our pool essentials blog. Adding some floating lights or a big pool float that aligns with your theme adds an extra pop!
If you know you’re going to have a ton of leftovers, get to-go boxes for your guests. Not only will they appreciate it but you will not have wasted any food! Everyone gets leftovers!
If you hosted an end of summer party, let us know which theme you chose!
