Edible Easter Basket

This edible Easter basket makes for the cutest decor piece or addition to your Easter table! The best part is when Easter is over, you can eat it!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 stick of butter or margarine

  • 1 package of miniature marshmallows

  • 1 package of Fruity Pebbles Cereal

  • Chocolate Eggs

  • Edible 'Grass'


Directions

  1. Line 2-1/2- to 3-qt. of a bowl with foil, extending foil about 2 inches beyond edge of bowl. Lightly grease the foil and set it aside.

  2. Place butter in a microwaveable bowl sprayed with cooking spray.

  3. Microwave on high 45 seconds, or until butter is melted.

  4. Add marshmallows and stir to coat.

  5. Microwave for about 1-1/2 minutes or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after for about 45 seconds.

  6. Microwave an additional 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.

  7. Add the cereal and mix it well.

  8. Place cereal mixture in foil-lined bowl. Press firmly onto bottom and up side of bowl to form thick shell.

  9. Let stand in cool dry place at least 4 hours or overnight until it's firm.

  10. Remove cereal shell from bowl, using foil handles.

  11. Carefully peel off the foil.

  12. Fill the shell with edible grass and mini chocolate eggs.
