Peppermint Bark is a holiday staple! We're sharing a simple recipe for how to make the most delicious recipe, perfect for gifting or for yourself!

Things You'll Need:
12 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
12 oz. white chocolate, chopped
1 tsp of peppermint extract
8 candy canes, crushed
How To Make It:
Chop your chocolate. Do not mix them together.
Crush your candy canes.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Fill the bottom of a large pot with 3 inches water and bring to simmer over medium heat.
Reduce heat to low, then place a large heatproof bowl on top. Add semi-sweet chocolate and stir occasionally until chocolate has melted. Stir in extract.
Pour into prepared baking sheet and spread into an even, thin layer.
Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Over the same pot of barely simmering water, place another large heatproof bowl. Add white chocolate, stir until melted.
Pour over set semi-sweet chocolate.
Top immediately with crushed candy canes.
Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Once set, take it out of the refrigerator and let it cool to room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
