Creamy One Pot Parmesan Pasta

This creamy Parmesan pasta dish is super easy to make - not just because it's less of a mess with only one pot. It's a healthier take on an Alfredo sauce but with just as much yumminess!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

  • 3 gloves of olive oil

  • 2 cups of chicken broth

  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream

  • 8 oz of Penne pasta

  • 1/4 tsp of salt

  • 1/4 tsp of pepper

  • 1 cup of Parmesan Cheese

How To Make:

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  2. Add the garlic and let it cook for about 30 seconds to a minute.

  3. Add the chicken broth, milk, salt, and half a cup of parmesan cheese.

  4. Let that heat for about 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

  5. Once that's heated, add the pasta.

  6. Optional: We like it extra cheesy in our house, so we add more than one cup of cheese. If you like it cheesy too, add another 1/2 cup of Parmesan.

  7. Bring the heat down to a simmer.

  8. Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally, as it will start to turn into a heavy mixture.

  9. Stir in any extra Parmesan cheese.

  10. Once the pasta is cooked, serve and enjoy!

Tip: If you like it extra saucy and creamy, add about a cup more of all the ingredients.
